Your Hosts, Peter & Donrita Reefman
Our family motto:
"Gezellig thuis"
"Convivially at home"
We invite you to relax and share the hospitality of our home with us.
We grew our six children in Sydney, them moved to this wonderful part of the world. Inspired by our son, Nick (now a travelling musician) we started a quest to use as many Permaculture Principles as we could to help us live the most sustainable lifestyle on our farm as we could manage. To our surprise, our visitors often told us how inspired they were in turn, and that they planned to make changes in their own lives after they'd arrive back home.
Since then, we have been exploring how we could add value to our guests. Tell us what you think!
Our lovely chocolate and merle border colllie, "Spring" will always welcome you with tail wagging. The only danger with her is that she might lick you to death.

Donrita, a Toastmaster and Rotarian, is passionate about "helping people find their voice". To this end, she received invitations to tutor her Speak with Impact course in the Pacific Region to women. This empowers local women to form spokeswomen's groups to speak out against domestic violence in their local communities. You can partner with Donrita in this project by donating here.

Peter loves working on his wood lathe.
Here is a small selection of some of the things he's made.
Ask about purchasing a lovely hand-made item by Peter before you leave.
Donrita's parents, Jan and Kitty Cosse, have their own cottage on our farm. Jan's Dutch Shortbread Cookies are a must to taste - he might even give you some to take home! Kitty can always be found knitting baby clothes. Perhaps you have a new baby in your life and would like to talk her into selling you one of her creations!
